1st Club Ride December 18, 2011

Osceola County High Point Riders first club ride scheduled for the season will be Sunday, December 18, 2011 starting at Jackrabbit Junction in Sibley at 9:30 a.m. to Rock Rapids to the Oval Ice Races. Any club member is encouraged to ride along on just a fun club ride and enjoy the races.

Winter Clothes For Kids Fun Run January 21st
The High Point Riders will host another well-known Fun Run where you can expect over 60 riders! This year the club has decided to have a theme for a good cause, "Winter Clothes For Kids" so save those old winter clothes and donate them Saturday, January 21st! Clothes and accessories donated, will go towards kids in need of them and if you donate, you will have perks towards the Fun Run Festivities. Fun Run registration will be from 11am-noon at JR's Bar in Melvin, route to be determined, we will post information when decided. The Fun Run will end in Melvin with our 4th Annual Meet & Greet with food, fun, and so much more! MARK YOUR CALENDARS for this event!!!

2nd Annual Club Trip to the Black Hills February 1st High Point Riders will once again head west this season for our annual club trip to the Black Hills. Lodging will be at The Spearfish Canyon Lodge again. We have blocked out rooms under "High Point Riders" so call and reserve your room today 1-877-975-6343. There are two queen beds per room and the club rate is $79 a night per room. Any club member is welcome to attend and may come and go anytime within the dates listed. You are responsible for setting up travel and room arrangements. There are a group of members leaving that Wednesday evening and staying until Sunday morning if you want to travel with a larger group.

Membership Dues are Due Now High Point Riders membership dues are due now. We must recieve them before December 21st, 2011, so please send your single membership ($25) or family membership ($30) to: High Point Riders 703 9th Street Sibley, IA 51249. Please include your names, address, phone number, email and date of birth of all children (required for insurance). All club members over the age of 16 will recieve a Membership Discount Card. This card has numerous discounts at numerous businesses from November thru March. The card itself pays for the membership, great investment and a great way to thank our sponsors. Be sure to mail in your High Point Riders membership dues in today.

TRAIL UPDATE 11/26/11 All though there is no snow yet, a few members have been out marking signs and culverts so that our trail system is safe and up to ISSA standards. All signage should be completed by the time the snow flies. Stay tuned here for grooming and trail updates.
