High Point Riders encourage winter haters to find a winter sport such as snowmobiling to embrace the season. Contacting your local snowmobile club can bring valuable information to people that have little to no knowledge about snowmobiling. Snowmobile clubs just don't ride, but raise money for charities and local purposes as well as assist local authorities and power companies when bad weather arrives. WATCH CLIP

The Osceola County High Point Riders Club was created in January of 2008 with over 100 members including spouses and children and has over 150 miles of snowmobile trails in Osceola County with trails linking to Sibley, Ashton, Melvin, May City, Harris and Ocheyedan. Trails will meet up with Lyon, O'Brien, and Dickinson County Snowmobile Club Trails.

Each winter, the Osceola County High Point Riders Snowmobile Club organizes several rides, which are open to members, their families and the public. Generally, these are local rides are in Osceola County and the tri-county area. Members also plan trips to more distant locations, such as Wyoming, The Black Hills, or up North. Riding with the Osceola County High Point Riders Snowmobile Club gives you a way to discover new trails and destinations while enjoying the friendship of fellow snowmobilers.

When not on the trails, you can still enjoy snowmobiling. The Osceola County High Point Riders Snowmobile Club gathers each month to plan events, welcome new members, socialize, and take care of Club business.  Members often share stories and photos from past trips.  Guest speakers as well as members are encouraged to exchange information on trails and resorts.   Members can participate in fundraisers, win door prizes, and hear special presentations. Club Meetings are on the second Monday of the month at The Court in Sibley at 7pm during the snowmobiling season.

Working together as a group, we can make our voice heard on the issues that affect the sport of snowmobiling. As a member of the Osceola County High Point Riders, you will automatically become a member of the Iowa State Snowmobiling Association (ISSA). This group functions as a unified voice for snowmobilers when dealing with the state government, the federal government, and equipment manufacturers. You will also receive the ISSA magazine: the Iowa Snowmobiler; covering the latest trail, legislation, and safety news.
